Wowza! 2018’s summer fishing season was another one for the record books as there was a total of 2,047 trophies registered in the Trophy Water Area. The largest smallmouth bass that was registered was 22”, the largest, lengthiest walleye was a 32.75” walleye, the largest northern pike was a whopping 46”, and the largest (which was also the heaviest) lake trout registered was a 33.5”. All these years of lodge owners participating in the Trophy Waters Conservation Area make these trophy waters an exciting area to fish. I look forward to our 2019 season to see what trophy numbers and lengths fishermen will record in the Trophy Waters Conservation Area.
